Description
Ice Lake is a lighthearted strategy game where players are ice skaters on a lake with very thin ice. You plan your moves out before each turn, deciding where you're going to skate on the ice, and then take turns moving your skates.
As your skates move, you draw the cracks they leave behind them. Anyone surrounded by cracks is in the water and out of the game. The goal is to be the last one skating on the ice.
From an educational perspective, Ice Lake is great for helping kids learn how to plan ahead, and how to visualize consequences.
